On 13 July 2005 the VDI in cooperation with the FAD organised a
workshop on the PM emission with the title “Scapegoat diesel engine!?”
Experts of the industry, OEM`s and of universities held
presentations on this topic. Aim of this workshop was a technical discussion
about the role of the diesel engine with respect to the particle emission.
