For the fifth time experts in the different fields of the vehicle´s technology, such as from OEMs, the automotive testing systems industries and suppliers, scientists of vehicle research institutes, representatives of the employer´s liability insurance association, lawgivers, the industrial union and professional associations met to discuss in the scope of the FAD-conference.

Social relevant problems like the climate change, the resources stringency and the hazardous health potential by pollutants compared to innovation, economic growth and the securing of mobility require a holistic reflection of the particle, nitrogen and carbon dioxide emissions caused by diesel engines. In consideration of these issues the technical focuses of this year´s programme were chosen. The aim of our conference was to spread information, to display trends and to get back to facts in the discussion of this problem.

The conference, the parallel exhibition as well as the social evening provided for more than 240 participants from 14 countries varied possibilities to exchange ideas and experiences.

We thank all speakers for their interesting and technical contribution as well as all companies and institutions, who enriched the conference by their commitment.
